Trinity went back to school today, but Jocelyn will be staying home again.
Yesterday, was probably the worst day for her.
She doesn't have an infection it is just a cold, but her fever has been steady
even with Tylenol.
And because of all of the coughing her throat pain is at it's worst.
In the midst of tears the other day she told me,
"I don't know why,
but just being next to you makes me feel better."
Aw, doesn't that just melt your heart?!
It melted mine
and needless to say I haven't gotten much done around the house
other than fill and refill the vaporizer, distribute medicine,
prepare meals and snacks
and do a whole lot of cuddling and comforting.
The girls were getting tired of just laying on the couch all day, so I pulled out
some paint and painted leprechauns with them.
They were adorable.
A few Irish Proverbs just for fun :o)
Praise the child and you praise the mother.
Mothers hold their children's hands for just a little while,
And their hearts forever.
And their hearts forever.
May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.
and my favorite...
As you ramble through life, whatever be your goal;
Keep your eye upon the doughnut, and not upon the hole.
Keep your eye upon the doughnut, and not upon the hole.
What a funny way to remind us to be positive & grateful!
Have a great day friends!
