Reports today reaches us that last night in New York, Mrs Orlando Bloom gave a sneak sample of the handmade, $2.5million bra that she will wear during next month's Victoria's Secret catwalk show.
It took a London Jeweler 500 hours to hand-sew the 3,400 gems - especially diamonds, pearls, citrines and aquamarines - upon the push-up bra, which will be the star piece of the lingerie giant's show. The valued bra also contains a fringe showpiece decorated with two 8-carat white diamonds, and two yellow 14-carat diamonds.
Every year a top model is given the honor of modeling the Victoria's Secret 'Fantasy Bra'. Kerr follows in the path of renowned names Tyra Banks, Heidi Kulm, Karolina Kurkova and Gisele Bunchen - who modeled a bra value of $15m in 2000.
"It's such an admiration to wear the bra," Kerr told People magazine . "And it's such a piece of artwork! It's entirely astonishing - it kind of senses a little mermaid-like - but I can't think I'm wearing $2.5 million on my upper body."
